Registration System for Auditors of Listed Companies
We are pleased to announce that Yaesu Audit & Co. has been registered on the Register of Auditors of Listed Companies as of May 27, 2024 by the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“JICPA”) in accordance with the provisions of Article 34-34-2 of the Certified Public Accountants Act.
The registration system for auditors of listed companies was legislated with the promulgation of the “Act to Partially Amend the Certified Public Accountants Act and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” (Act No. 41, 2022) on May 18, 2022, which introduces a registration system for audit firms, etc. that provide audit and attestation services on financial statements of listed companies, etc. and has been operated by the JICPA since April 1, 2023.
